Using the finest polyurethane and fiberglass materials available in our manufacturing process, SpaceAge offers a wide density range of 10 lbs to 40 lbs per cubic foot; adjusting the amount of fiberglass to meet customers’ strength requirements. These fiber reinforced polyurethane sheets are available in guaranteed thicknesses from .25” up to 2” and in dimensions up to 60” wide and 170” long. Thermo-Lite Board® is also cut into parts and kits – all with custom drilling, milling and edging. Using CAD software, our Engineers work closely with our customers to produce parts per specifications. If a customer does not have their own part files, SpaceAge will create them with its CAD software.

In 1997 SpaceAge designed, engineered and patented its WAFFLE composite panel for use as an ice floor covering system in multi-purpose arenas. The name “WAFFLE” comes from the waffle-looking pattern on the underside of the sheets – locking in temperatures from the ice.
After extensive R & D efforts, we now also offer our WAFFLE panel with FASCOAT (Finish and Strength Coating,) a high density polyurethane spray-on coating. While originally created in response to arenas’ requests for a more “finished” appearance, our FASCOAT products have become popular throughout various other industries and applications. SpaceAge’s portable ice floors are currently marketed and sold through sales agents within the United States, Canada and Germany; with flooring systems installed in over 135 prestigious arenas across the globe.
